I'm going to fold some 5mm alu into a big C bracket that will allow mounting from above or below. Will need to reinforce the sides.. more metal work! Ideally I'd like to to be able to tripod mount it.

Indeed. And.. I'm pleasantly surprised by the blue from styro - except maybe for the modulation response (only kicks in about half way) but the beam quality is quite nice!

It was a 350mW as I was trying to reduce the spend :) I might upgrade it one day. The colour mix is skewed but looks amazing at lower overall powers.

I haven't been able to verify the output of the 637, but itsa good! :) The black things are the scan amps which if you look in the other photos now sit below on the main plate (on an angle so the M4 holes line up with my 10x10 grid - bloody thing!).. I screwed up the placement of the Pangolin...

Can anyone suggest the best safety goggles/glasses for aligning RGB systems? Are there good goggles that cover the entire 450-660nm? And what is/are the accepted best brands for these? Thanks!

OK - thanks guys. I was projecting something roughly equal in both axis; I have since adjusted the tension on the galvo in the mounting block (unsure if this actually has any effect) and added a large piece of L shaped aluminium against the amp heatsinks which keeps both amplifiers wayyy...

Another question - sorry If I should be asking these elsewhere. The amplifier for the X axis seems to run significantly warmer than Y, is there some logical reason for this, is it just variance in components or should I be checking something to correct this? How hot should they get...
