Hello All I have been a gadget guy my whole life. I've had about 15 different lasers through out. Mostly just cheaper ones. After recently getting back into the hobby, I saw how to pot mod a laser. I bought a few cheap pens (black ones with the dimples) and pot modded 1 of them. It worked...

I know you honestly don't care if i say, "hello" because everyone just says, "hello" HI, hi, HI, hello... etc etc it doesnt seem to matter where I buy them from, they all look the same, they just have different internal parts... some have the pot, some don't.. seems like a crap shot so far

i know this is old.. BUT.... there are these newer laser pointers that are everywhere on ebay and amazon, etc etc.. same style.. its the black one with the dimples....all the youtube videos show people taking the cap off the tip, then the diode/chip pull out with it.... this is not the case with...
