exactly the same. I had an external power supply for use with HD 5v and 12v 1.5 amp I used the 5v and ground. note I tried the 12v also for 2 sec and than it is x2 but you can see still nothing on a wall or something . scam ! !

if you change batterys than you see the chip like on my picture that looks 2 me verry strange in the first place ;) I see on the forum from dealextreme that there were people with same problem. could it be that the ground - is not properly soldered 2 the lazer ? and second question the pot...
