Like the title says i have 2 (two) 18650 batts. I put them in the sleds once.
I bought them for use in an electronic cigarette but they arent suitable for that application (so i learn after i bought them).

I'm on the fence. It could be legit, but I would be very cautious and make sure you know how to dispute a credit card charge.

Welcome to 21st century helicopter parenting. The kid had 0 access to a firearm and was really a sweet kid. Schools have a 0 tolerance policy towards threats of violence especially with weapons.
If its 5mw or above I would always use caution and wear goggles.
Usually anywhere between 50-100mw is where burning happens. Usually in any wavelength.
If its a super cheap laser, you might have damaged it by reversing the batteries. I had a 50mw red that I did that to and boom, no worky. Try what was said above, new batteries and see if that fixes the problem.
The more I look and research, the more I realize I dont know anything about anything about gas lasers. Id probably buy some part of a bomb for all I know. I have no idea what to purchase.

That's exactly what I was looking for thank you. I've wanted one for awhile, but being a youngin, I want the brightest and most powerful laser for cheap. After my bonus Ile get a bare tube HeNe and put it on the shelf as an aux light source and a heater for my dorm ;)
