    Why don't we use op-amp current sources?

    im using two 50watt 0.01 ohm power resistors in parallel ( 0.005ohm ). i think cheap solutions are generally more expensive than expensive solutions...:)

    im using a similar circuit with IXTH230N085T (rds4.4 mOhm idmax 230amp pmax 550w). the power supply i build is adjustable from 1.40volts to 4.60volts and the current is adjustable from 0.0amps to 120.0amps. with a copper heatsink and forced air-cooling.

    i do not know the microprocessor inside, but i will disassemble the controller box soon. i will test the laser in hard conditions ( a few hours of continuous use ) and then i will disassemble the box.

    the module has a nozzle for air and laser co axial work. controller has an air pump inside ( a bit noisy ). and for lens protection the air is blowing from nozzle. laser is cooled with TEC peltier and monitored and controlled with driver box. this is the picture of the menu when operating
