Hi all.
I am building my first dual red laser.
I have a Die4drive Driver and using analogue modulation.
My required output current is 350mA on each diode.
I have found some info on here and around the net, But nothing conclusive.
My questions are...
Can I just connect both reds to the same...
Hello
I was testing a PHR-803T in a Z-bolt heatsink. (Aixiz Module Acrylic Lens)
It was connected to a LM317 Driver runing at 80mA. (Was on 30seconds)
Then this happend.
Any Ideas what may have caused it?
Thanks.
I want to use it in a Laser show.
So what would it take to run it say 1-2 hours.
Would it have to be TEC cooled?
I am going to be using analogue modulation for colour mixing, So its not going to be running at Full 360mA all the time.
I just don't want to cook it.
Thanks
Ok, This is my first help post.
How do you workout the Duty Cycle of a Laser?
Lets say I had a Red (LPC-815) running at 360mA (220mw~) in a Aixiz module.
Then I take the same LPC-815 in a Aixiz module at 360mA and mount it in a Lab type heat sink.
What factors do I need to know, To workout a...

Seems alot of choice but not many reviews.

Well first thing is a DVD-Burner 200mw Red. Then a GGW Violet.
Over time I am working towards making a budget RGV scanner with analog modulation.
Quite a big build to start with. But ime in the best place for help.

Thanks for the welcome.
I did have a 120mw DPSS Green and a 300mw Red. Sold them because I was out of work.
Now Ime on my feet again. Its time to build some of my own.
So its time to start shopping. Yeh... lol

I have been relearning and updating my knowledge of lasers from this site. (Excellent resource. Thank you)
I love this hobby and am looking forward to expanding my knowledge and helping others.
