Well, 124mW green for a $355 laser is sad. Really a high IR output. Maybe they just raise the IR output and sell them at a higher price?

I know, its kinda hard to do a nice beamshot. All I can tell is to place both, your cam and the laser on the ground or a tripod if you have one. Then use the autotimer to get a nice result (: And use night mode, if your cam supports that.

I got the 50mW FLX from Rayfoss and it works great, it even lights matches. Maybe the 100mW is enough for your first laser? I mean, 200mW does not double the brightness. LED indicator works still great, got the laser a few months now.

This is EXACTLY why I hate those NewWish hosts! My cheap "100mW" DX greenie got that host and the output was very influenced by those moving batteries. Now I'm happy with my Rayfoss laser (: For $9 anyway not a bad buy ;)

I don't think discussing whether they manufacture or resell their lasers makes any sense. Why not simply email Faona and ask her if they resell some lasers or build everything on their own?
