Ya they do have an iffy reputation and I was totally in the dark ordering because I couldn't find anything on them but I am impressed with this laser so far. I really do need to get this lpm'ed though. I used an optic to focus it and it burned things.

The red is obviously going to be better for burning and such things like that because it is a higher power although the green 100mW will be more visible than the 200mW red. So really you have to make a decision. I would go with the green for the beam and the wow factor. Also keep in mind both...

There is still something strange about them. Also they sell SKYlaser lasers and you can just get them from the actual manufacturer cheaper.

Congrats on the buy. This is a good power to safely look at the dot and examine the color and the beauty of it. I myself want to get a 100mW in the 445nm range as well. Since its your first laser above 5mW be careful. It could damage your eyes. Once again congrats on your new laser. Can't wait...
