Re: Red Diode/Optics from LG CH10ls20 Well, the LG CH10sl20 is labeled as a 10x BR drive. Before I killed the diode.... it was putting out much less than my 8x was at the same current. I know someone was looking for red diodes from BR drives.

How easy was removing the window from the front of the diode? I was thinking about doing that with mine since the window is starting to have what looks like burn marks on it. I tried cleaning the window with windex and a q-tip but that didn't help. Thanks, mz
