Im sure that there are some ppl over at PL who are controlling there projectors with iOS devices, can't remember how but their doing it.

Did I read somewhere that you can't (not legally) use QS for commercial shows? Or is this old info? Anyway I got mine (with Livepro) and it's worth every penny. If you are in the market for a DAC/Software package for your projector you won't go wrong with this and the resale value is very good!

Going from your pictures it looks like you intend mounting you laser on a seperate platform from your galvos (not the case it will flex), if this is so its not a good idea. You want you laser and galvos absolutely rigid and locked together ideally on the same baseplate. Good luck.

Yeah it is fairly shallow at ~18" deep, went for a shallow design for greater light penetration. You will understand the importance of light in a Reef;) Also easier maintainance not having saltwater upto your neck! Cheers

Cant remember exactly, but im sure I read somewhere that its not a good idea to have the lids of these 473's because the LBO crystal is hygroscopic and absorbs moisture.

The regulations in the UK are not 'fuzzy' at all. It is currently perfectly legal to import and own any laser of any power output. Customs are not within there rights to withold your laser. Enjoy your laser, when you receive it.

Maybe I am not seeing the picture correctly but you need the scanner block close to the edge of the optic table otherwise your beams will be bouncing around the inside of the case.
