ive only heard of 1 homemade dpss laser the reason its soo hard is because green lasers really use a powerfull 808nm(infared)diode and a array of crystals an mirrors arryed to make the beam green i would suggest trying a red laser for you first one loads easyer by the way welcome to the forum ;D

are you sure steam is okay for the laser couldnt it fry it tell me if im mistaken :-/

i already bought one of these and i think there just crap and im willing to pay a little more for some better qualitly (plus i dont want one thats that power full i just want one for messin around with)

Ive had the unfotunate exprice of having 75mw of green laser in my eye it dosent hurt but you definetly notice it and i now have a small brown patch on my eye but my other eye compensates for the small loss of vision so no biggie but the first thing i did was buy goggles.
