Received my chrome pocket mini today, for a 200mW 520nm build. It took quite a while due to shipping delays from China, but I'm happy with it.
Impressions and comments:
The host is very good quality for a mid/low-range chinese host. The threads are really good (not noticeably gritty) and the...
Thanks!
Unfortunately they don't have what I'm looking for. Their diode green A) is out of stock B) uses the weaker 50mW diode C) uses 1x18650, which is too big for me.
DTR's Laser Shop also accepts BTC, and I have purchased a module from them, but if I could get a very small pre-built laser...
I am interested in purchasing a small laser (possibly a keychain host) with either a 445nm diode or one of those new green diodes.
I'm willing to pay Bitcoin or any common altcoin. No paypal.
OK, can I see inside the module? I'm only interested in the diode and driver, not the housing or lens. I will remove those anyway.
ETA:
What I'm trying to figure out, is a)what is the voltage range and b)is it case-positive?
I am looking for a >100mW red laser diode and a driver to go along with it.
I haven't been doing laser stuff for a while, so I forget what the driver options are, but ideally it would work with a standard 3V CR123 and the 3.7V RCR123s, but if it only works with one of those, I can deal with it...
Are there any hosts that can fit an entire aixiz module with one of those cheap dropout regulator drivers inside? It would be a plus if the host also had a spring up front, behind the pill, to prevent shock damage from the batteries slamming forward.
I hate this law so much... plus, the funny thing is, an infinitesimal amount of gun crimes were ever committed by automatic weapons...
Although I do know of a guy who sells guns to the police, and he gets to buy and use fully automatic weapons at military/LEO prices.
However, if you...
Re: 445nm Casio Laser Diode Compilation Thread
I'm not sure if this is what you are asking, but I think for a while casio sold just the laser array on its own, but stopped due to "pr problems" (eg wickedlasers)...
That's what I mean. The phosphors in some LEDs have a longer half-life than others. One of my XR-Es behaves as you describe, and it's very cool. The phosphor in my ikea LED desk lamp glows for a very long time, at night the glow is noticeable for a minute or more.
Right, because your shooting plugs have anything to do with a thread about light waves. Sorry for making a friendly recommendation about a related method...
I'm not trying to say anything... just suggesting a different product. I'm not saying those things are bad... (although personally, I would rather have 26dB of passive isolation than 25dB of active isolation... passive isolation can never run out of batteries...) By the way...
