How to build an inexpensive fan cooled heatsink for you diode.
Supplies:
A CPU heatsink and fan from a old computer.
12v wall adapter/transformer around 500mil amps.
First is to drill out heatsink with a 12mil...

i need help building a psu for my 808nm ir diode. its a 1watt and running at 1amp. i want to make it portable useing d or c cells or some other typ of batteries

im starting a new project thermo liquid cooler i know its over board but what the heck. i know thay use them on co2 lasers but i thought make one for diodes :D heres pic of some of the stuff i got to start my project
