The problem is not the battery but the switch. Ran a multimeter to the tail cap and it is a defective switch and not a bad battery connection.
I'll look into getting a refund. I can live with the ridiculous battery tolerance but not a bad switch.
What a pain in the ass
Sorry about that, the milliamp hour vs milliwatt thing was a mistype. I'll probably test out the brightness stability tonight.
The battery slot on the laser only allows an unprotected 18650 battery to fit. Even then, it is a tight fit. Apparently the positive side of my batteries are thinner...
I have just received my 500mAh laser. Unfortunately, I am a complete amateur when it comes to laser so I can't tell if there is anything wrong with the beam pattern. The thing I do know is that the tail-cap power switch is very faulty and can actually be very dangerous.
When turning it on it...
I remember being surprised that it took exactly 2 weeks for the laser to even get shipped.
I'm having it shipped to Long Beach, California.
I'll show some pictures when I get it.
It sucks that I am so impatient but I am. Today makes 3 weeks since I ordered my laser and according to tracking, I have no idea when it will arrive.
Ordered a
XPL-H532G500 500mw 532nm on 13 Sept, 2016 and don't know when I'll get it. From what I read, this is still a reasonable time as...
Re: XPL discussion - "the miracle company"
What battery are you guys using for your XPL-H532G500? Peng said that they can only use 18.5mm x 65mm max. I just purchased four Orbtronic 18650 3400mah protected cell batteries (18.6 mm x 68.9 mm)to allow me to trash my Surefire batteries. Seems...
Re: XPL discussion - "the miracle company"
The one I ordered was their XPL-H532G500 532nm 500mw laser
The DHL option costed over $60 so I went with the normal shipping. I'm guessing that it will come close to the two week timer that aliexpress automatically gives sellers to ship orders.
Re: XPL discussion - "the miracle company"
How long did it take for your orders to get shipped? 10 days later and it it still processing? It's about to get auto-cancelled in a little under 3 days from now.
Does a laser really need 10+ days to test and process?
Re: XPL discussion - "the miracle company"
Not that it didn't work, I just didn't want to bother asking how he wanted me to go about again. Plus it costed $15 extra so I figured that I'd just use my CC.
I forgot to tell you thanks for saving me a few bucks. Thanks.
Re: XPL discussion - "the miracle company"
Yeah, I ended up getting the discount but was never able to setup paypal. I just used a credit card instead of my debit.
Re: XPL discussion - "the miracle company"
I don't think that he offers a 15% discount anymore.
I'll post the messages.

Re: XPL discussion - "the miracle company"
I've been trying to order the https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/XPL-H532G500-powerful-and-high-end-532nm-500mw-green-laser-pointer/1722148_32603222343.html model from them since Friday but it doesn't look good. I've been asking him to setup up a...
Thanks for the warning guys, I feel like a complete moron. My first laser purchased was many years ago. I forget the company but it was an X125 and it is still strong to this day.
I was on lucklasers's site and just about to click paypal but decided to search up reviews. thankfully I did.
