Sold----I just received a new Artic series 445nm Wicked Laser after 4 months wait. During that time I built 2 DIY 445nm handhelds. Don't need this one now.
These cost $300 new plus $30 shipping and a long wait. This one goes for the first $315 total. All I have done is charged the battery...
I have 2 that are 120 V.A.C. One is 3RPM and the other is 8 RPM. ( $8 @) Also have 2 that are 3 volts D.C. at 4 RPM. ($12@) You pay shipping if interested. I take them to SELEM tuesday.

Here is a demo of 635nm red versus 640nm red in a RGB projector.
I had a Laserwave 400mw 635nm laser in my RGB. Notice the fatness of the red beam, and the red splash projecting up from the top mirror because the red beam was larger than the scanner mirrors.

It was a lot of fun to play with Rog. I bet you really enjoyed doing your 3 mirror spiro, and really small RGB projector. Now you need a super minature set of scanners. :D

I used a 1000 ohm potentiometer in series with the motor. It was a D.C. motor that ran off of 3 volts. I found that I could cut the voltage down to .8 volts with the pot to get it to .2 RPM. I used a switch across the pot to short it out to start the motor, as it draws a lot of current to...
