HOLY ****......... Wow those are expensive. Who has experience building something in this range or where can you buy them pre-built?

HA. Yeah well it defiantly has a double meaning. But I don't live in CA anymore. Can the beam expander fit into a battery powered/handheld unit or would it be more realistic to have these features in a less portable solution. The distance is just preferred but not 100% necessary.

I'm not positive on wavelength or power. I know the end goal is to make something smoke a little from about 30-50 feet away. I added location and introduced myself.
