Most lasers there arent the best quality but if you get lucky you might get a nice one. They are also very cheap and if you speak Mandarin dont forget to ask for a lower price because they will usually sell it to you. I bought a green laser with a diffraction grating attached from beijing and...

That video is way more realistic than the govt videos. I think it would really disorient you if the laser was shined at the plane while it was landing or taking off.

You will need googles if you are going to make a laser over 5mw. there are some good quality and well-priced ones here Safety pick the ones you like that protect against 445nm And if you dont have one already you will need a charger for your batteries the intellicharge i2 or i4 is nice

It might be powerful enough to pop a balloon and light a match, but that laser is definitely not a 532nm 5000mW laser an actual 5W 532 would cost thousands of dollars.
