how about if the diode/laser module has greater current, then it would heat up rapidly and the battery would drain rapidly too? is that right?

yah, from what i compared, o-like does have lots of cheap lasers, actually cheaper than lazerer, but in terms of quality, lazerer won, and it is the cheaper than any laser stores..
