Overspec means nothing, while its nice the specs are true any laser company can just subtract a few milliWatts from their actual output and post it; There is nothing to it.

If its the diode, a lens will still make it a dot. My 808 diode makes a line, but with the aixiz it makes a square dot.

Rayfoss shipped me a battery and charger, its still going good. Get a camera and point it a white piece of paper, while recording chine the laser at it. If you after reviewing the video see a pink dot on the paper then it looks like the crystals are mis-aligned and cannot be fixed. It could be...
