I received my 445nm 1W handheld from o-like yesterday and can't get it to work. Batteries work, switch work, and I got the polarity right ("+" towards the end/switch). I tried to measure current, but there is 0A. I've been in contact with Susie, and I can send it back to get a new one, but...

Hi, I was looking at this item at O-like. Why does it say "405nm driver, 250mW"? Can't I use this with other wavelengths, and why is that? thanks :)

Hi, I've been into this laser thing a while now, and since I' considering to build my own, I have a question... Why do i need a "driver" and that stuff? I mean, if I get a laser diode, why can't i simply fix an output of 3V 50mA, connect it directly to the laser diode, and get an output of...
