Probably has 1 - 2 hours use on it. Been sitting in a drawer at work.
Quoted from site when I purchased it:
-Significantly brighter than red laser pointers
-Produce clearly visible green beam in the dark
- Functions: entertainment, illumination, indicating, collimating, sky pointing and...
O-Like Red "Dilda" bought Sept of last year and never really used. Probably has about 5-10 minutes use total.
Quotes from site: "wavelegth :650+/-10nm"
"Output power:180-200mW"
"Beam visible indoor at daytime"
"pop balloons and light match instantly"
"batteries and charger are included"...
I just got a red dilda from O-Like. Do the batteries go in pos. first (towards the diode)? Just making sure. Some I've had are opposide. Also, ho many minutes do the stock batteries usually last on a charge?
Thanks!

FS: >> SOLD << Ultrafire host, HS, red w/ extra batteries & charger >>>REDUCED<<<
I've got a Cree Ultrafire host with a red module (rkcstr driver, LOC, axaiz) set at 420 mA. Module sits in custom aluminum heat sink (was drilled about .005 too big - either needs set screw or thermal paste)...
Meritline sells a 5 mW greenie. The regular price is $29.99, but it's on sale more often than not. I paid $19.99 for mine. Right now it's $22.99 (always free S&H). It's in the US, and shipping time is usually less than a week.
I finally tested mine, and it's tests at 37 mW. My 50 mW...
I bought a used LPM from someone on this forum and I have to say, it's really easy to use. All you need is a 9V battery and a digital multimeter (DMM). If you're tooling around with lasers, odds are you have one (DMM) anyway. Although I bought mine from an individual, you can pick them up on...
Wasn't someone selling "kits" that had the diode installed into an Aixiz module and (I think) a rkcstr driver soldered together? Seems like they were around $45 for a red and $50 for a bluray. Am I remembering that right???
Test post (never posted a pic).
This was re-built from the "laser in an Icebreakers Mint box" BluRay. I'm showing a picture of the 3D model, because the paint job on the actual one got royally screwed up. The Aixiz module is pressed into an aluminum heatsink. The button is momentary because it...
Does anyone have a battery spreadsheet listing the commonly used batteries for lasers (with voltage, mAh, size, etc.) ?? I started working on one, and realized it may have been done already.
Thanks,
My 5 mw greenie died today. Not sure why. I've only had it for 2-3 weeks. Probably used it a total of 1hr. This morning, as I was headed to work at 6AM, I pulled it out of the center console. I put it under my leg in the seat to warm it up a minute or 2. Then turned it on. It hesitated...
Has anyone ever used a cell phone as a host? I always have 4 -5 cells in the junk drawer at the house. They have a rechargable Li-Ion battery built in (which the one I'm looking at now is 3.7V, 800mAh).
Heck, I even have a few at home that already has a built in front-firing LED flashlight...
Is there a compiled list somewhere that will tell me what is a good "normal" output for various diodes.
Example:
16X DVD = 200 mW output (red)
2X blu-ray = 110 mW output
etc.
I keep my 5mW in the car a lot. It's dark when I drive to work, so naturally, I play around with it. I usually sit it under my leg in the seat for a few minutes to let it warm up, because it's COLD after sitting out overnight.
My question is: is it bad for the laser to use it cold like...
