Which are the most visible red lasers?

I'm partial to the color of 607nm red with orange sparklely fire, as my favorite and most visible red beam, but it's an exotic set of crystals and optics and temp control to generate that wavelength, fine for a lab but tough to package in a pointer. 612nm is my second most favorite color of...

Source for 575nm and 565nm OPTlaser modules

Kecked- Would you like me to send you the module with the failed IR pump my friend? You're free to keep it, I'm just interested to see it lase again and I might not have time to spend on it.

Source for 575nm and 565nm OPTlaser modules

I'm delighted to send it as my expense to whomever you guys believe has the skills and tools to explore the crystals performance potential. Or if I try it myself, perhaps an FAC 5W 808nm pump like this...

It appears your laser has a different diode in a different housing diameter and heatsink. Once I replace the IR pump on my unit labeled 574nm, I will post spectrometer plots and perhaps we can get a visual indicator to confirm which laser wavelength a unit has by its appearance.

Which is the most powerfull green laser diode on the market?

Do you have a link or source to buy another of that 545nm module my friend?

Which is the most powerfull green laser diode on the market?

Is the NUGM04 capable of making a collumated single beam with low divergence? (maybe with on diode FAC correction at a cost of >20-30% output loss) Im personally seeking the highest output power 505-530nm range green diode that is capable of producing a low divergence beam using pocket-pointer...

Size measurements of emission face of various diodes, mostly single mode.

Thanks for appreciating the work! I have some sharp 488nm diodes and I'm willing to de-can one and measure its dimensions. Ive still got a dozen or so different diodes left to image, but if anyone has a specific diode they want measurements of things inside, I'm happy to do the microscopy...

Size measurements of emission face of various diodes, mostly single mode.

650nm 500mW mitsu red These source files are all huge, its a pity the forum forces them to be shrunk so tiny to upload. I'm still not confident I've measured the emmision area surface yet sadly. Greatly reduced microscopy drama in imagine the de-canned diode.

Pity I toasted the IR pump diode in the laser labeled 574nm.... Much risk to the non-linear crystals if I put a 1watt 808nm pump diode to replace the little pump?

Source for 575nm and 565nm OPTlaser modules

Wavelength measurements delayed... I enjoyed the unit as a laser show in our home, the 4 colors were great. Took it to the lab the next day, set a power supply for 3V and 50mA, then clipped it to the back of the IR pump diode, and it flashed yellow-green for a split second and the pump LD...

589nm vs. 594nm Yellow Wavelength Comparison

If you want to sell your 577nm anytime my friend.... I would be honored and be first in line to buy.

589nm vs. 594nm Yellow Wavelength Comparison

That's happened each time so far I've tried to get a 575nm or 577nm from Alibaba... I was hoping the 589nm would be a more available and mature product, fingers crossed!

Finally ordered a 5mW 589nm pocket laser.... Excited to see it next to 571nm. I will share pics.

    Fiber laser projects

Can you share how your columatior is setup on the end of the fiber? Do you need to blow compressed air through across the optic to keep the vaporized metals from condensing on it?

Source for 575nm and 565nm OPTlaser modules

Im as excited as you to measure the wavelength my friend. I got the notice that the projector arrived at my RnD lab, but I've been traveling for remote client work this week. I will hopefully finish up and get back to the lab Monday to measure wavelengths.

Source for 575nm and 565nm OPTlaser modules

Im happy if its 565nm, as I don't yet have that wavelength.

I also bought one scorpian storm RGBY that ships from USA, and I will measure the spectra when I get the chance.

Any idea if these projectors use a 574-575nm range yellow? They are a bit cheaper for buying to gut for parts. https://www.ebay.com/itm/DJ-Light-460mW-4-Lens-4-Beam-RGBY-DJ-Stage-Lighting-Disco-Show-DMX-Projector-/393919569827?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l6249&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0

    Meeting on Photonics west

I enjoyed the show so much I'm going to try to attend many more SPIE shows. I think Philip enjoyed the Tesla Plaid ride (peaking in the 110-120mph range at times), and I will do my best to attend the San Diego conference in California and give members who want to meet rides in it if they into...
