I can't seem to rep on the mobile version either. It's okay but could be a lot better. My main complaint is it's not very user friendly in general but it's fine for just reading and replying. the user control panel isn't very good on the mobile version.

I can't think of a reason why that would be bad for the diode. Just keep in mind it's still harmful to people's eyes so treat it the same as a focused laser not a flashlight. My 405 makes a really nice flashlight beam when greatly unfocused. Reminds me of a spotlight.

The only beam expander I've seen from Dragon Lasers is 2 X not 10 X. I bought one from a member here but can't figure out how to unscrew the face of the host without scratching the hell out of it to put the expander on.

Definitely. Even without a little fog but with some it's quite a sight. @GSS sorry I double checked it wasn't fasttech I got those modules from it was Laserland. They advertise 200mW but many doubt they are true 200mW green.

I have inquired about their 500mW 532 modules which they told me was the same as the one in the Crowns but haven't bought one. I bought a 200mW 532 from fasttech but haven't yet tested them. They told me that they were not 200mW of 532 light but IR and 532nm combined to rate them at 200mW.

There are a dozen of threads showing sci fi lead time to be over a month so fast shipping doesn't really matter if it doesn't get into the post for 6 weeks. But yea they are a nice laser just don't expect to see it anytime soon.
