NIR  Photo of DX True 30mw running at 4.5V

Re: NIR  Photo of DX True 30mw running at 4.5 Those were taken with an unmodified logitech quickcam pro, one with a small lamp on. The vids were taken just to show that its not just a cone of IR these lasers put out, as so many people on the DX forums keep saying.

    RCR123A rechargeable batteries.

The Tenergy batteries I purchased from all-battery state they are regulated to 3.0 - 3.2ish volts (at least on the ebay page), but my multimeter seems to dissagree. I have had them put out 4.2V right off the charger.

30mw true green dx laser @ 4.5 volts

I'm going to try to hot glue the battery tube from a CR123A powered MXDL onto the end of this 30 and see how that goes (if I dont get lazy when I get home).

*SOLD OUT* >150mW mini red lasers for $63

Re: >150mW mini red lasers for $63 Well, I came to this thread to report that my 10ohm resistored replacement is still going strong, and it died while I was writing this..lol. It lasted quite a while, but I guess the bunkness of these misrepresented diodes that were being sold prevailed in the...

    Make your own diffraction gratings

I know. I have some goggles that are >OD6, so they hardly let you see the dot, much less the beam, so I need to invest in another pair.
