Why aren't they low power 445 pens. Can I make one

I have a question that has been on my mind for a while. Everyone seems to be making Class IV monsters that will blind you if you shine it at a white wall. But why hasn't anyone made 5, 10 or 50mW 445 lasers. Lasers you can just point around (outside of course and not at anyone) If I saw a...

Randomly recieved a free Arctic in the mail.

On a question of morality. Remember if you send it back you are supporting horrible unscrupulous scoundrels that are shipping exploding batteries and sub-par goggles with their lasers. And they have defrauded numerous customers. You didn't steal the laser. They shipped it to you by their own...

Should i get this 250mw red laser from O-Like?

The laser is fine. Get it and you'll be satisfied. Susie will make sure it is at least the rated power. Also grab some laser goggles as well since 250mW is heaps of power. The goggles O-like sells seem to fine for me

DX new range of Blue/Violet Modules

no of course not. I'm not that careless. Anyway I have my focalprice goggles back now. For $8 there pretty good. I put them in front of my camera and shone a metered 50mW laser and all my camera saw was IR

DX new range of Blue/Violet Modules

I admit i wasn't wearing my goggles since i had left my focalprice goggles at a friends place but the laser was no where near my face or eyes.

Susie metered it and just said it was on spec. Sadly she didn't give me the exact number

    O-Like 50mW Green Pen ($28)

Since I had lost my other 50mW green (rated 60mW) and I couldn't live in a world without 532. I decided to get the chrome host 50mW pen from O-Like Packaging and shipping (6/10) It came very well bubbled wrapped in the usual white singapore post envelope. Instead of declaring it as the usual...

    O-Like Transformable 50mW Green

I use the Ultrafire 18650 batteries that came with it and sometimes I use Energiser 123s when I want portability. I tried to use some DX protected 18650s I think they're called Trustfire or something but they were too big to fit into the laser

    Focalprice Goggle test

I am really impressed with them. My 60mW green laser is very dim through them ie dimmer than 1mW 650 or 5mW 405 Here is a quick video test, where I shined my laser through them directly into my camera. No green just IR YouTube - Focalprice Laser Goggle test (anti-green)

    O-Like Transformable 50mW Green

It can use both. The extension tube is removable to allow the use of CR123s for portability. But yes it's most likely the protection circuit. Interestingly the ultrafire 18650 which came with this laser is quite a lot shorter than the no name 18650 battery which came with my shenzen-wholesale...

    O-Like Transformable 50mW Green

The CR123 I used was an Energizer 3.0V Primary I got from a supermarket My guess is that your batteries have a protection circuit that makes them marginally longer

    Suggestion needed for <50 mW

Personally I'm a fan of O-Like. I've had flawless service from them. They will replace your laser if something goes wrong in the first few weeks and meter their lasers before shipping. If you want a pen style laser I recommend this one from O-Like. Nice chrome finish Silver chrome green laser...

    O-Like Transformable 50mW Green

Hello guys, I'm still a bit of a n00b so don't be too hard on this crap little review. [Price & Shipping] I ordered it on the 16th and received it on the 29th, which is pretty good for O-Like. The laser was $41 USD + $5 USD shipping. As always O-Like didn't put a warning sticker on the laser...

O-like 200mW red laser new style vs. old vs. cute?

is it a red laser or a green laser? You would have a much better chance of getting a good answer if you made a thread in the right section.

O-like 200mW red laser new style vs. old vs. cute?

Stay away from the old one. The focus head on it will be very loose. I got one and it fell apart three days after use. Luckily O-Like let me send it back and I got a new style one which works great. The "cute" one will be slightly more powerful, but there is nothing I can think off from the top...

    200mW O-Like dilda Help

I know I'm kicking my self for getting the old style 200mW from O-Like for $43 (shipping and goggles pushed it up to $60 something) But there is good news. I just received an email from Susie and I can return it and get a replacement :) :) :)

    200mW O-Like dilda Help

I've tried with the teflon tape several times. It won't work :( It's just constantly out of focus. It was a POS of a laser that broke the week I got it and they won't refund it. I have lost about $60 USD once you include shipping and laser safety glasses. Is there any chance of ever getting...
