LPM In a Cube!! Bluetooth is Working!!

Re: LPM In a Cube!! I am sorry. I know waiting on boards is excruciating, same here. I will update the pics as soon as I get the REV.2 board. Cheers Wade

LPM In a Cube!! Bluetooth is Working!!

Re: LPM In a Cube!! Okay, some update but not much. At least no pics yet. I got the OLED working and I already layout the REV.2 board. Just waiting on the PCB. I didn't even bother to build the first one since I know everything works. The Rev.2 will have Bluetooth, OLED display, rechargeable...

LPM In a Cube!! Bluetooth is Working!!

Hello, Folks I have an Ophir head I use to measure my laser. Everytime I need to use it. I have to connect it with the meter and everything is just so bulky. So one day I decided to shrink all things to just one small back pack. Everything you need to run an Ophir is in this small package!! I...

    Looking for machinist

I am working on a project and I need a custom made enclosure. It doesn't have to be big but it need a cut out in the front and some cut out at the side and also need to be small enough. So the stock enclosure doesn't work. Does any one who has a milling machine can help me out? Thanks Wade

    All in one LPM Prototype

32u4 can handle it since there is a saperate graphic processor in the LCD module. It is just like how you would drive the normal LCD , sort of. Besides the update rate doesn't have to be super fast. 10fps will be sufficient.

    All in one LPM Prototype

Yes, actually. It has enough pins to add on a TFT touchscreen LCD, and a sd card data logger. I'm going to work on it in couple of weeks. Cheers Wade

    Thermopile sensor question

I don't need to know the specific, I just need to know the approximate value so I can set up my op-amp. cheers wade

    Thermopile sensor question

Hello guys, I am working on a new design of the power meter that would work with all types of sensors, but I couldn't find the feedback voltage of the thermopile sensor such as Ophir or Coherent sensors. I find some information on Newport that says it is about 10mv/W, and some other off...

Looking to buy a green 100mw+ preferably pen style!

I got one it does about 150mw some times it goes to 190mw. Not sure about IR, but green output is definitely over 100mw. I am pretty sure it's CNI module in there. It's a chrome pen.

Update!! Finally got time to put this sucker together. DFNs are Pain in the BUTT!! I think I got a short under the boost converter, but the rest things work including the battery management.

native ADC doesn't have enough resolution so I use an external 18bit ADC. op-amp is a Zero-drift op-amp. Gain adjust by a pot. You can software coded the offset, no big deal.

    All in one LPM Prototype

the power management is self contained, so no code needed.

    All in one LPM Prototype

It takes all kind of sensors. It has an adjustable gain on op-amp. I might just ask Trevor to write code for this thing if I couldn't figure it out by myself. Cheers Wade
