The LPM is fine, I tested it with all my other lasers and it is just on track. When I did this test I just had my other He-Ne Aerotech on the side, and switching from one laser to the other the readings where right on. The aerotech measured at just around 6mW that was what it should be. Also...

Just as LivinLoud states... there is no real way to tell the power of a laser other than a LPM. Now if you are looking for a burning laser the best option you can get (for the money) is probably a blue laser more than a green. Green lasers are very expensive and to get a 1W green it would cost...

Check the lasers I have for sale in the BST section. You will find nice tested lasers and that is what you should get as your first laser, not some untested chinese laser that might have less than 1/10 of the declared power.

Well there are nice things on both types of lasers. What I really like about Argons is that when you turn them on is like turning on a jet engine, and people go....WOW.... Just that after a while they are annoying. The HeNe are completely silent, and some times that is nice. Also it all depends...

Ok but shipping cost is quite different since the laser is in Costa Rica and not in the USA so if you pay for the shipping cost I will sell it for what I paied for it. But if I had to pay for shipping for that laser or any argon I would just keep them since it wouldn't be worth selling.
