    Battries

mAh refers to the capacity of the battery - Milliamp Hours - and is useful to give you an idea of lasing time between recharging. For example, a laser/driver drawing 800mA would give about an hours use in theory on 800mAh rated batts before needing recharging. Of the AW's mentioned before, the...

FS: Saik SA-305 Kit! With Options, Including a 32600 Li-Ion Battery...

My kit arrived today, thanks Jay :D What a great little chunky host it is. It looked pretty good to me in the pictures on the first post, but this is better than I was expecting (I must have smaller hands....lol) I'm really looking forward to building this one up :D

    Battries

Its no more difficult ordering from a website such as InfinitusEquitas linked to, and that particular battery is one of the best. AW also do a protected 16340 sized battery rated at 750mAh - http://www.lighthound.com/AW-RCR123a-Protected-750-mAh-Battery_p_114.html Ultrafire are all over ebay...

I still did not get a "clear" answer? The links to the two lasers, will they burn?

Re: I still did not get a "clear" answer? The links to the two lasers, will they burn Will they burn things? Nahhhhhh, but the violet one should pop black balloons no problem if the power rating is correct. If not can someone give me a "direct link" to ones that are for sell that burn? but...

    Review of RyanElectro's laser

I'm surprised you had trouble using 18350 batteries. All my lasers that are supposed to run on 16340's take them without any problems. (I prefer them)

    Holographic Laser Warning Decals!

Re: Holographic Laser Warning Decals for Sale! Got mine today also, thanks Nick ;) Those twice the size ones I asked for are fantastic. I tried taking some pictures but they didn't come out very well - I just couldn't get the lighting right with the holographicness (is that a word?) playing...

    Lasers as a Weapon?

Hmmm, well I suppose you could try and club them over the head with it whilst they were rolling around on the floor laughing. Gun V Laser is a no contest. The legality of anyone breaking into your home is 'justifiable force' to remove them in most countries as far as I know. Use whatever is on...

    Best Lens for LPC-826 diode?

Daawood - Regarding a spring or teflon tape (PTFE tape in UK), the tape is a much better choice i.m.o. A spring will 'firm' things up a bit but it still tends to wobble from side to side. (mine always have so I don't use them). Nearly $6 is a ridiculous price for a spring; I've got a spare one...

    My first build

A good guess at the power output would be 1400-1500mW with a 3 element glass lens at 1.62A. As justinjja said, the C6's do get very warm at higher currents. A 60 secs on/ 90+ secs off would be a good duty cycle i.m.o. The best way to know if the batteries are running out is to use a...

The MagicSticks Custom Hosts - PICS & INFO

Re: MagicStick - The new 2012 custom host Yes, the 18350's are a much better fit for quite a few hosts which normally recommend 16340's - C6, Lazerer Rifle + Survivals stainless to name 3.

    MARIANO's & BMXHPI's LASER SHOP

Re: MARIANO's LASER SHOP I don't remember being asked if my survival host photo could be used. How rude :tsk: edit: Just seen your 'note'. ARGLaser is right, that's not how it works. Be polite and ask people before you go using (stealing?) their pictures - cheeky sod. ps, Yes you can use it.

    1.4A 445 battery life

Ah well then, if it's for a C6 a better alternative would be to get an extension tube and throw 2 x 18650's in there :D

    1.4A 445 battery life

Just4FunReally - Depending on if the host, you might be able to use AW IMR 18350 instead of the 16340's. They are rated slightly higher at 700mAh.

    1.4A 445 battery life

Forgetting the previous answers (although totally relevant of course), your 10 minute time is to be expected considering the batteries. Trustfire - 880mAh? Divide that by 2 and you will be a lot closer to the actual capacity.
