No, I find 445nm very dark, blue but dark, and I can't even imagine comparing to 532nm because it's just too dark. I see this color (445nm) compared to 532nm exactly like on this graph, 532nm is way more brighter for me, like ten times or so.

As promised, I have received module from twhite828 (thanks!) today, it has "two dots" one small and the second one normal but who cares, ok so I did measured diode current with APC offline: It's 1,88A after warmup: #Edit It's 1.46~~A with APC online, but I have just removed it permanently...

Re: Gtx 280 The problem is that people can easily get a GTX 460 for 200-230~~ bucks from ebay (new etc.), so you should really make a price for that item, like lets say - 150$ without shipping. And since that card is still using DirectX 10.0 (no-supported DX 11.0+) and old OpenGL it's not worth...

445 is nice, but 473 or/and 488nm (sad you don't have to compare) looks much better, this is why I bought 10mW 473nm lab module, still waiting it to arrive :P I want to buy 488nm aswell, but not as argon laser (my avatar is made using argon laser and galvos), because it's sux, I would get a DPSS...

"incredible expensive"? That's not true, the simpliest driver to provide 7A would cost about 15$ or less(not sure about cost of components in the USA), the second driver for TEC using built in thermistor to stay at constant temperature also wouldn't be a problem, so in the conclusion - there...

It doesn't change facts that it's very low effective, about FAC - yes, I though about it since as I saw there is alot of corrective lenses but anyway - you are right, it isn't needed, I know about APC aswell, still, even somehow reaching 35mW on these won't change my first words. And remember...

Insane, thats quite high powered one for only 10mW? Still, for this price you get: -Atleast a 2W 808nm diode most likely with Fast Axis Collimation and some other corrective lenses. -Propably 2 miniature TEC's (one for crystal and the other one for diode). -Crystal set of ND:YAG or ND:YVO4...

I will do alot of tests once I buy and receive module from twhite828, he is out of home right now, propably on holidays so it may take a while :P

I'm pretty sure it's much more painfull than normal tattoo (never took a tatoo so I'm just guessing), I can't imagine you holding over a 2 seconds while a 1W (for example 445nm) is focused into your skin, no, you won't stand that, unimaginable pain and I can confirm that.
