Hi thanks for responding. When I back it off a little the beam just gets wider. It just starts to get to its thinnest as it reaches the point where it cannot be screwed in any more. I will post pictures when I get a chance.

So it ended up clearing up last night but I couldn't see anything. I looked at a live feed of the Kennedy visitor's center where the laser is but it wasn't lit at the time. I did however find a nice picture of the laser from Dec 3rd, taken at the center itself. If you guys haven't found any yet...

Its a little cloudy right now, if it happens to be shining atm, but it looks like its clearing on the radar....So I am keeping an eye out tonight.

I just received a 520nm 200-300mw laser from Sci-Fi yesterday. This is a fantastic laser. Once in the mail, it took only 10 days to reach me in Florida. (standard shipping)

Very impressive

Those pictures are stunning! I have an 8" newtonian telescope along with a t-adapter and a fully manual Nikon camera. However, I haven't gotten around to taking any pictures as of yet. I can't, however, do any long exposures because the telescope has no tracking. Great job
