Well, you know... perhaps not "decent", but why didn't they just go with the crappy huge die you're describing with your red diode? And I seem to remember on ebay a while back, for a few hundred bucks I think someone was selling single mode 445 diodes...

Bummer.... but then why would nichia make the 445nm diodes have such a relatively decent beam quality, if they were intended solely for projector use?

To be honest I haven't done much research in to what it takes to get a silencer-but back in idaho my friend told me a bit about the process (send in a $200 tax stamp, then wait very patiently) and one time I saw a guy buying a silencer in the local high-end gun store, basically he gave the guy...

Not really a "license" involved... the bureau just wants your $200... :whistle: I really doubt anyone has been arrested for posting a silencer online. However, I do know about a guy that was arrested for posting a picture of his trijicon sights. Turns out he bought them from a soldier who stole...
