Kershaw Blur S30V for $80, any better recommendations?

I was gonna get the "tactical" tanto version for the slightly better steel than the regular version at the same price, but the look drove me off. (And I've realized that tanto sucks if you ever hope to sharpen the knife.) I like the look of the standard version the most, but the 440a steel...

Kershaw Blur S30V for $80, any better recommendations?

So, I think I'm picking up a Blur in S30V, unless anyone else has a better idea in the price range (ie BELOW this price, I'm already pushing it). It seems to be among the highest quality assisted openers available, and the steel is basically the best in this price range as well. Aluminum grips...

c++, c0ld world record most unique keywords in a row that compiles?

Edit: at first I thought it was just "most words", now I see it is "most unique words". Wow! Very impressive! :D

What else do you guys build?

Programs (embedded and PC) of all kinds, non-laser electronics (think microcontrollers and stuff), flashlights, and a few other things. I would definitely do more if I had the time, and in the summer I often build a lot.

    What lights do you have?

Try to be pessimistic and think "am I ever actually gonna use this?" right before you click "order" or "add to cart".Works for me 90% of the time, I've been able to prevent too many "major" (>$300) shopping sprees in the past few months that way. :D

The problem is, Arnold S. is the one trying to ban guns in the first place! I'm fairly sure a 4 gauge is illegal in california...

Whiskey's burned down earlier this year-they rebuilt it right before I left. I didn't get a chance to go inside afterwards. Fun place for sure. And you're right, celebrities were pretty regular up there and there weren't any fanatics so no one bothered them too much. Keeping it (a bit) on...

I didn't know bruce had a bar... but we almost ran in to arnold one time. Literally. The guy was biking like an idiot, just blasted across the crosswalk, LOL. And I thought his house was to the north of ketchum... maybe I was looking at the wrong one. It's funny how many people have...

Ahh, got it. I forget what the cop looked like, but that was 2 or 3 years ago. The last time I was up there was either this summer or the one before, I can't seem to remember... We went to redfish and went across the lake on a powerboat. The boat died on the way back, and we had about a dozen...

I have (or had, I guess) lifeflite insurance. :D For anyone wondering, it's a service where they will helicopter you from anywhere in idaho in an emergency for $50 a year. That means if you lose a limb skiing in the backcountry (or if you need an emergency MRI or whatever, Sun valley didn't have...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salmon_River_(Idaho) That one. We rafted about 40 miles and there was this little cabin on the side of the river. The guy who lived there built all sorts of really cool guns, including what he called the "2 gauge".

Yep... They just shot in the general direction of the birds, and got 'em all! I consider them more "cannons" than shotguns. However, one time I did see a ~2 gauge custom built shoulder fired shot-cannon on a school trip. It was built by a hermit who lived along the salmon river.

For rifles, the number goes up with a wider bullet. thinnest to thickest: .17 HMR .22 .223 (.22 and .223 are the same thickness, but the .223 has a bigger cartridge) .270 .308 etc. for shotguns, a lower number is thicker. .410 is the thinnest (this is labeled like a standard bullet for some...

I disagree a bit... for two reasons... First, a desert eagle is not a waste of money because of the firepower. It's a "waste" because it has no utility, but if you buy it for fun then no problem. Second, I find myself dissatisfied with everything I've shot out of a handgun, all the way up to...
