Ok, here's my situation. I have a red (~650nm? who knows, but it's red) diode in a sled that I've tested with my own DIY driver. Problem is, I can't get the darn thing out of there. I just don't know what to do. It's stuck in there not just with a press-fit, but it's glued in with that special...

If it is, what current should I be running it at? 250? 300? 350? It's a 7 year old diode (according to the manufacturing date on the drive) so I'm not sure how much it can handle.
