Some great sites that sell laser?

I would rather buy from a fellow forum member. However, I almost bought something from a couple of banners until I checked this section of the forum.

Is it legal to point a 150mw green laser in the sky? In the US?

This picture Brings up a question. What if the neighbor peeks over the fence or through the slots in the fence? Will they be at risk for retinal damage if looking st the lbeam on the barn?

Need a Laser to kill Spiders (!!)

This thread should have been called Slaysers. I prefer the vacuum or double sided tape. Easier than using a bug zapper. It's not work the effort to zap them. They're pretty damn fast.

    Help!

Things never work out that simply. If it reflects onto the retina in the process of turning it on or some other reason, you'll be regretting that decision. I personally, wouldn't recommend operation or ownership, without a pair. Before I even operated mine, I ordered a couple of pairs.

Some great sites that sell laser?

Why are a few "non-recommended" sites allowed to have banners here? Am I missing something?

Things to take note when buying lasers?

Doesn't sound responsible of him to Say those things. You NEED goggles before you try to use them. Those $10 safety goggles available in various places probably won't do it either.

Things to take note when buying lasers?

For him: What is the duty cycle? By what method did he or she confirm the output? What type of heatsink? What kind of driver? Is the diode soldered or press fit? How many builds has he or she made? What type of batteries does it use? For you: what safety training do you have? Do you have...

Article Accurate on 1w 445 Lasers?

I don't know if the intent was satire but that is how I took it. Rather pointless article if you ask me. It is well documented that class IV beams can cause burns and damage the retina. The effects are similar to electrocautery. Proper protection and safety precautions are what limit the...

Thanks. I thInk based upon what I have the Torch I have is better. I have a waterproof phone, knives, a 357 Magnum, and a lighter, in addition to my whistle and food for even a short excursion. I'll tell you that yelling for help in the middle of the forest and mountains lasted a whole 45...

    Getting stranded

Everything I EDC is titanium for rust corrosion prevention, such as when I went to Alaska or outings in the open ocean. If its not titanium, it is coated for corrosion resistance.

    Getting stranded

I, once, was stranded in the middle of the forest in Utah in the mountains. Temperature was about 8F. I have since been more prepared not to have that happen again. I carry a light with strobe capability and an extra set of batteries plus a lighter and titanium whistle. Anyways, are there...

I am a new member. I'm very interested in lasers and laser safety. I have a couple of Eagle Pair Glasses, and I'm ready to acquire a new laser, soon. I find them quite fascinating ever since I was young. I'm a physician and my main hobbies are travel and shooting. I'm also a Balisong knife...
