Trying out a Wicked Lasers set of Laser Goggles...

So I aimed at something to burn using a 1 W and 2 W laser. Then I interposed the Wicked Lasers Goggles between the target, and it actually worked. The surface of the lens did 'scratch' or melt a little bit, though. I was just curious how good they were. I was afraid they wouldn't provide any...

Wearing goggles to protect your eyes = Safe Having your friends watch without eye protection = Not Safe Assembling the laser and putting in the batteries while wearing goggles = Safe, Doing so without goggles on = Not Safe

Do you feel that the laser is just a desire that goes after holding it.

I like the beams generated. Burning stuff wears off. It's a novelty of burning things that ends quickly. Now if I can only find a shark to attach mine to....bwahahahahaha

    (SOLD)-WL S3 Arctic 1W

I shoot once to twice a week. It takes as long to clean as it does to shoot. I had a Beretta PX4-Storm but I prefer the 92FS in Stainless.

    Need to fix: 800mW laser

I have a Spy007 host with a BluRay 405 nm diode. I burned it out exceeding the recommended cycle (too much in awe of the purple light, I guess). Anyways, I would like someone who is an established builder to fix it. It likely needs a new diode. It doesn't have to be 405 nm, again. However...
