You mean put the lens upside down so that it is further away from the diode?

That is exactly what i did the end where the lens is located was screwed in closest to the diode but this did not seem to work I tried to see what the perfect distance would be by just holding the lens infornt of the diode and turning it on. The distance i should have between them is about half...

I just got the lens today :) super fast ^^ I got a slight problem though.... it does fit but the problem is i cannot get it to focus... if i screw it to deep it falls in.. if not deep enough it just gives me a huge blue circle ^^

I ordered a G2 lens from DTR and right now it has passed costums in the USA so it should be on its way to europe now ^^ can't wait till it arives ^^

if the lens gets closer to the laser then the orginal lens barrel then would this be a problem? it wont get further because the lens barrel is bigger then the one i had so it probably will get closer ^^

.... Hotmail blocked my account because they think it's being used by someone else... i tried 2 times to get it back but no matter how much information i give them they won't give it back... Now i can also not use my paypal account anymore and i tried making a new hotmail and paypal but now...

Thanks alot for that link! i think i will leave this as it is and buy a lens that is already in a barrel because i don't want to risk damaging the new lens when putting it in this barrel ^^ as i said before i never done something like this before so i shouldn't be trusted with a 35$ lens :P...

This laser looks axactly the same as the one i bought in bangkok last summer I went back to the store the next day to switch it for another one because the lens broke really quickly... but perhaps there was some dirt on the lens otherwise this is a very good powerfull laser The only downside is...

So i managed to get the gold collored lens socket out of it there were no other loose parts I used a big flathead screwdriver which worked fine Now i have a slight problem.. how can i get the lens out of the gold socket? ^^...

I'm liking the sound of that G2 ^^ but what about the dot? it will be bigger or not really look like a dot? right now it was kinda looking like a rectangle instead of a round dot is this the lens you are talking about...
