I purchased them. The blue and red ones worked, my green one did not. Green just output IR. So I got two working maybe overspec lasers for 26 bucks.

Well if you want a bright beam for cheap, go for 532nm (green) for starters. If you want something that can't burn you need under 100mW or so, but I think a 50mW focusable can burn. Not too sure on the exact numbers. No laser that can't burn and is under $50 will have a visible beam when...

Just make sure it's a "true" 5mW pen, you don't want an overspec one, doesn't really matter where you buy it from in my opinion.

Uh I insert the two AAA batteries that work in my red and blue ones exactly like it and it simply does not turn on. Laser is room temp by the way. Any help would be great. Really pissed off that I can't get them working and they came bad. I think.
