hi, Awesome and no problem! Yes i received it, also sended you a message

    A Work of Art

Hi, awesome to hear you like the build quality! Hope you will have great times with it :)

    Underwater laser beam

Haven't seen it till now, it looks awesome, but it is significantly larger then mine. The laser i got could be carried everywhere without anybody, even me noticing it Don't think so lol :D

    Underwater laser beam

Hi, i got a ziplockbag with 2 sillica gel packages in them, i put my lens and the window in them, then i waited 5 minutes to make sure its absolutely dry in there, then i assembled the window on the lens which seals it with dry air, hardest part was to seal it without dust getting in there. Then...

    Underwater laser beam

Hi, thanks! Its actually more for lens protection, dust and water to prevent scratching. Already ruined a couple lenses so this should make the lens last for ever. And i didn't know until the underwater beam till now and that makes another cool thing about the window Yes mine could be used...

    Underwater laser beam

i'm interested to see what their solution is for the underwater laser! I actually sended 2 mails but the last one is nothing importand i think my browser is broken so need to fix that now

    Underwater laser beam

Thats is my host i made myself using austenitic stainless steel. It was hard to machine!

    Underwater laser beam

Hi, thanks! I got your PM, not sure if you got mine, i will send you the PM again. It took a little time to figure out how to get rid of the back reflections between the glass window and the lens, and i used 2 sheeds of graphite perfectly paralel to each other to press the window against the rim...

    Underwater laser beam

    Hi, Thanks!

    Underwater laser beam

I made a perfect 8mmx1mm glass which fits perfectly inside the laser focussing knob and on my 150mW bluray. I sealed it off with a special silicone film which i later cut out when the 8mm window was installed, which leaves a o ring where the edge blocks the window. Then i screwed it on my lens...

    Possibly higher output diode

Hi, thanks! No problem i like this diode it still works if it stays like this

    Possibly higher output diode

I got a sld3232vf 405nm 50mW diode. Normal current is 60/70mA for 50mW. Now with that current i saw a little square noise around the dot with the lens. Now i got the output on 140mA, the square is gone. I have heard that a diode generates more optical power at lower temperature so i tested it...

Filling laser optics with nitrogen gas

I will show you how the cavity looks like later this day, glueing is no option. Its either making a bracket or forget it. I already put a glass piece coated for 405nm in there to prevent unwanted stuff to get on the diode window. This thing also would be on a airsoft and a real gun for the...

Filling laser optics with nitrogen gas

Sorry for the mis information. From what i've heard on the internet is that nitrogen gas is hygroscopic and doesn't absorb moisture. I was more interested to getting that stuff in the optics I put the laser with the lens unscrewed inside the bag with a desiccant package in there and Screwed...

Filling laser optics with nitrogen gas

Hi, no its not permanent. I could break the seal whenever i want. But sure that thing is sealed good when closed

Filling laser optics with nitrogen gas

This item is sealed yes. But there is no way putting any gasses inside without unscrewing the lens. But i solved the problem! Pictures of the lens and the host after it went in the freezer for a solid 5 min. No condensation inside and beam quality is perfect but as soon as i turn it on, the...

Filling laser optics with nitrogen gas

Hi, i didn't know all that was required to fill it with nitrogen gas. I tought getting the gas, getting a ziplock back and fill it up and screw the lens on there and trapping nitrogen in there while the bag was closed. Air couldn't escape from the cavity. The sealing is hard and the 3 element...

Filling laser optics with nitrogen gas

Hi, i will do that next time never tought about that button sorry

Filling laser optics with nitrogen gas

Hi thanks for your answer. I did not use vacuum to remove air. Vacuuming would put to much stress around the diode seal and vacuuming the bag would make it too hard to put it back together while inside the bag. I removed as much air as possible tough by flatening the bag while still be able to...
