    BigLasers.com? Legit?

Considering the size of this host, your duty cycle will likely be around a minute. The two are the exact same host. You'd need a rather large (and expensive) heatsink to get a continuous duty cycle at 1W of 445.

    BigLasers.com? Legit?

Nice research, wonder why you didn't find this... Cyber 445nm - 1W Focusable Blue Laser Water Proof Same exact thing, $100 cheaper. Plus they're trusted. Don't know about BigLasers, but definitely overpriced. As well as the fact that WL lasers are crap.

    O-like.com

Yup, you'll find this forum has lots of resources, just need to search for them or ask! :D If you have any other questions, you can PM me or any other vets and we can help you. Probably should read up on laser safety if you're new to lasers though

    O-like.com

No one else has had problems with O-like, so again I reiterate; if you have any questions, email Susie who will sort things out. They are a trusted source and have good customer service. Unless they suddenly began scamming people in the last 24 hours, I just received my 50mW module from them no...

    Saftey features/ What is possible

Well depends on how you're using it. If there's even a remote chance it'll get in someone's eye, then about 10mW is the max limit, and even that's rather dangerous. However, if you're simply pointing at things on the wall, floor, etc., without risk of reflections, then up to about 50mW of green...

    Alternate battery

His name says silver, but it's more like lead. Poisonous to everything it touches and rather dense.... on a more serious note, there are lots of places to get 18650 batteries....it's called google.

    FS. Arctic 3 laser $300

Read the rules of the BST section, post pics with your name and date, lower the price to something reasonable, and then come back. Because right now, it's just about the worst thing anyone could do to buy from you. No reputation, no name made for yourself, first post and you're already giving...

What Laser is Best for a Good Daylight Visible Point?

Lazerer and O-like are two good, cheap and reliable companies. Cost will probably set you back $70 ish. 100-200mW should be quite enough, just don't point at anything reflective since it could damage your eyes. Your original purpose should be just fine though.

    How much difference should I see between my 30mW 532nm, vs a 200mW 532nm?

I believe relative brightness is a x^2:x ratio. 4 times the power equals 2 times the brightness, 16 times the power equals 4 times the brightness. What do you plan on doing with the 400? it might be painful to look at that indoors :p the lower the wavelength the more energy is absorbed, IIRC. so...
