    About Gball diode

DTR i got a question for you as i think you have the best information about this due to your shop feedback.we all know that the blue diodes tend to degrade when the gball is removed but happens on the green side and those 1w 520nm diodes, are those degrade too when gball is removed??

    About Gball diode

100$ for a fake diodes huh? at least we are aware now. New NDB7b77 445/450nm 2.3W Multimode Blue Laser Diode : High Power Burning Laser Pointers,DPSS Laser Diode LD Modules, Kinds of laser products

    Something interesting about Newgazer 7A75

i was looking for a power test on the nubm05 and found an old post of you back in 2016 that you been told by dtr that the nubm05 is basically a ndb7a75 with a Gball. check number 3 post  https://laserpointerforums.com/f65/nubm05-specs-98417.html

    Something interesting about Newgazer 7A75

i have read many times in the past theories that the nubm05 is the same diode as ndb7a75 so i guess the 450nm+ wavelenght is right for this diode.nothing has proven yet of course. i wonder if a decaned ndb7a75 will degrade like all nubm0x do

    Where to Buy G9 Lens

Those new lenses that he listed looks to be very fat,i though that the g9's are not that fat, maybe its the older 140's as redcowboy noted

    Where to Buy G9 Lens

as redcowboy mentioned correctly those look to be the langer ndb7875 lenses that doesn't fit on standard m9x0.5 threading. for better understanding here is a pic from the 2 different diameter lenses that coming from 7875's diodes. just to mention that the photo isn't mine*

    About Gball diode

i grabbed my nubm07 and fired it on my psu and looks all the lines are full, one photo at 1,5A and the other one at 3.7A.the problem with the china source diodes is that they extract those with heat from the banks to melt the solder and this could be lead to a problems. note,my diode is not a...

you mean there are missing bars after they failed or when are still new?a photo would be great :tinfoil:

1W 520nm Suddenly Dim and Distorted

this looks to me either like a glue at the lens or a glass lens with a plastic and melted lens holder-threading.in both cases as you stated don't bother taking it apart and sent it back for a replacement

    About Gball diode

thats right but the statings on datasheets are for X target hours lifespan,on the projectors case they need a very durable and long lifespan on the diodes thats why we don't have serious problems when we overdrive them, lets say the nubm07 is stated for 3.5A for 20000hours,if we run at 4.6A and...

    About Gball diode

i don't really know for the n465 but i bet that the "2.6w" diode states on the datasheet is very simillar to the nubm07 and it can be pushed to at least 4w. nubm07 states 2.3A typical current and the "nich1@ 2.6w" states 2A so not that big difference

    About Gball diode

don't mistake the recommended power on the datasheets with the power that we tend to overdrive our diodes. the nubm07 datasheet states 2.9w wich is unreal on our runs

1W 520nm Suddenly Dim and Distorted

looks like to have a glued lens on it so the actual diode can't be seen

    About Gball diode

i have to agree that most likely the air expands inside the housing between diode and lens as those diodes tend to work hot, imagine the temperature that the emmiter actually has while running, this wwould expand and after that shrink air back in the housing area bringing dust and humidity inside

thanks styropyro for this great group buy :D

1W 520nm Suddenly Dim and Distorted

please take of the lens and take a photo of the diode, this will help us see if there is anything wrong with the diode

    About Gball diode

i have read somewhere that a decaned nubm44 is not degrading as the other high powered gball diodes,im sure that all the series of blue gballs degrade if the can removed but i don't know what is happens on the green diodes.anyone have any info? did anyone asked for a nubm07 with a normal can...

    Feeler: 495nm and 488nm diodes

ok then i agree for the 14$ for the first class package as nobody wants an expensive and rare diode to got lost on the postage ;)

yes count me in,im in Greece and i would prefer a shipping with tracking number(i dont know the extra cost though) :yh:
