No, I had a light pointed into the side ports of body to show where the exhaust comes out, Yes it is inside the body, I will post runtimes when I get it finished. This is not the same laser I built on "black Friday" I started this one on saturday. It will use the same body but have an internal fan.

The only parts made on the mazak are the fan impeller and clear plastic housing. All other parts were done on my manual machines. Rotary table is my fav. tool.

We drew it in Autocad but just punched in the #'s My Brother is a whiz with mazatrol. He has a mill and a lathe (both CNC mazak) in his garage!! My mill & lathe are manual but I make some crazy stuff on them.

Cool idea, does it stay cool? No elect. issues with the oil ? When I got my 445 I was scared to pick the diode up with my fingers due to all the posts here about esd. and how easy it is too cook one. And here you are drownding one.
