BUYING blue ray diodes, housing and drivers

Kenom has or had a GB for barrels, i dont know if its still going on.  Daedel has a DIY tutorial for a driver just need to change the Battery to a 9V and resistor to one 33 Ohm(not two 10 Ohm).  Daedal also has GB all the time for Blu Rays and you can select an option to have it put in an AixiZ...

    is this ok

thanks, i played around with it more last night and i used a 47k Ohm resistor instead of 100 Ohm cause  all i have are 33, 47k, and 10's.  so i used  the 47k asa dummy and i got 7.25mV i did the math and it came out to be something like .000158A  isnt that 158mA? im testing DDLs driver with a...

jake21 can you forward me those details. im trying to figure out my multimeter and driver also. im doing alot wrong cause my reading is .02

    multimeter noob question

i have the same multi. i put it on 10A, put the red and blue plugs in the right spots. my screen came up with .03 - .04 is that 30mA-40mA im guessing?

    *** BluRays for $25... ***

SWEEET! i finally have $$$ for the GB. and i just finished my circuit for a BR. ( thanks to everyone in the forums here, MUCH appreciated!)

    reverse diode?

    thanks appreciate it!!

    FusionDrives GB - CLOSED

Re: FusionDrives GB - 32 UNPAID yeah thats what i said, lots of us have been patient and buyers and sellers not just blue should stick to their word.

    reverse diode?

i read in DDLs DIY driver you reverse the polarity of the 1N4001. does this mean that in my driver i solder the end of the 1N4001 with the silver line on it to the positive LD or the negative LD? or does it matter?

    FusionDrives GB - CLOSED

Re: FusionDrives GB - 32 UNPAID Like i said before, "your my boy blue!" i second that about people having more than enough time. blue has been most patient and everyone that paid has been waiting also. buyers should stick to their word too not just the seller

    silicone charged?

thanks. i believe that happened to my capacitor when i tried to hook up my red cause my red never blinked, lit, or shinned. that or there was just too much crammed in my AixiZ and something touched the walls inside. no matter now cause its gone for good

just to clarify, there probly will be another GB around mid February right?

    silicone charged?

if i used my 1N4001 and capacitor in testing my whole circuit with 3 LEDs, how do i make sure they are not charged or "un-charge" them? thanks!

    Blu-ray diodes

radioshacks part #'s 271-265 - pot (if you want it) 271-1104- 33 Ohm resistor (for Blu Ray) 271-1301- 10 Ohm resistor (for red LD) 276-1101- 1N4001 silicone diode 276-1778- LM317T voltage regulator you also need a capacitor, 47uF 35V is what DDL used, i also read you can use a 10uF. i dont know...

    Blu-ray diodes

i believe that was his GB for the blu rays.  you can buy all the parts for his driver from radioshack, thats what i did.  ill post back with the part #. Blue fusion may have some extra drivers from his GB that will work, i think you just have to add the resistor of your choice and solder...

    Blu-ray diodes

im using DDl's driver, just instead of 2-10 Ohm resistors use 1-33 Ohm, and use a regular 9 v i saw the pin out in one of the sections, it was in the first 3 threads

thanks toked! you talking about just a circuit or a whole battery charger device?

DDL do these BR have a high Vf? i'm wondering because chimo made a boost circuit for a BR and he said the LD he used had a high Vf and any LD with a lower Vf could be over-driven.

    whats going on?

regretably i dont have multimeter. i used a LED just to get a guess where my problem is at. i just used 2 AAs on my breadboard when i tested it with 3 LEDs. i said i used 4 earlier, that shoulda been 3, sorry
