the group buys, which by now i probably missed out on and if purchased with the aixiz module its $40 even if the sled assembly is no longer needed?

well id rather get the diode pre-installed in the aixiz housing for about 25 bucks over buying the module separate and buying the ps3 setup for 35-45 bucks.

oh and how will i know when the group buy for the blu-ray/aixiz modules is happening?

yeah, my problem is translating that onto the board and figuring out HOW to connect em :-/ . i know i know, "god this kid is a noob" lol

oh sweet. that would take the mystery out of me figuring that out too. im already gonna have enough trouble trying to figure out the circuit board, i have absolutely no idea how to go about that part

is there something about the module thats different? i mean it is what im looking for for my setup right?

well they have some bigger ones there. I can just get the next size up. Guess my last task is getting the right kinda momentary switch and finding out where the hell im gonna get a blu-ray diode. so far the only way i've found one is to buy a ps3 laser unit which seems like a waste of money, I...

oh and it looks a lot longer and skinnier in the picture than it is in real life. its more wide and shorter.

Its a simple 4x2x1" black box I got from Radioshack. Didnt think I would need anything bigger, but with the board on one side, and the battery, aixiz module, and rheostat all on the other side, im not sure it will all fit. Link Here...

Ok well I went out today and bought all the parts except for the module and the diode. I was wondering which Aixiz module would work with this project.
