At 8.24volts from two lithiums and using the rkcstr test load setting to BLU, it started at 186mA and dropped to a steady 171mA as it warmed up. And lowering the volts considerably lowers the mA's.     Grotesquely Freakish PHR diode...

    I thinkyou can pull more than the rated mA out of them as you want, it just accelerates the use of the battery? For example, I have some 100mAh 10220 lithiums, and I can pull more than 100mAh from them..but they start losing voltage and dying very fast.

    Well, $80 shipped is $20 more than a 6x was. Almost seems like its more worth to wait for the 8x to drop price. I mean if a 8x inside a working drive is $200, then the sled would easily be half that price, if not the same as one of these.

    I am going to test the current on one of those DX drivers when I am at work tomorrow. I'm suspecting they are pushing less than 10mA, which would explain why they wouldn't work with these diodes. BTW Dave, payment sent. Thanks again for holding.
