    Tubes of Light

Hi Lew, Very interesting video. I have noticed on the few times I have photographed my projectors with the beams moving all around at various speeds how the photo may not look like what is actually seen. One nice thing with DMX control of the projectors is how you change change the speed, XY...

    New Glass Wedge

Hey Lew, Very nice pics. I like the ones with the background lit up in red, nice contrast. A 405nm going though glass is such a cool effect!

Where do you guys store your lasers?

Hi All, My first case was a Pelican (in the pic) and the other two are from Harbor Freight. They were inexpensive, around 35 dollars, and someone I knew gave me the pink foam which I cut out for my needs. The case in the pic is a Laserbtb PL series case, "customized" to fit three larger lasers...

    some "new" pics 6/24/18

Thanks everyone! In many of these I am using a 505nm,495nm and 488nm. I still have not tired of photographing these frequencies and am still amazed how inexpensive these frequencies are and that they all become available at roughly the same time. Add in a 473 nm and you get a nice 4 frequency...

    some "new" pics 6/24/18

These pics were taken about a month ago over the course of a week. I used a Slinky, a small sphere of uranium glass (illuminated by UV in some, white light in others), and eventually my LK-PD2 projector w/DMX control. When the Slinky is placed behind the glass spheres, amazing patterns form...

    488nm - A couple of setups

Hi Lewdude, Thanks, but if I were you I would get some of your great, creative shots for your living room. Yours are just as creative just different. LPF members, I would also strongly advise to you see Lews flickr page. I was aware of his flickr page before he was on LPF and saw he was just...

    some "new" pics 6/1/18

Hey AD,Thanks! Good luck with CaptureOne. You will have to let everyone know how it is. I gave up on Adobe Photo programs when they started with the subscription nonsense and starting bundling product together. For my "normal" photography I will usually use my Mac with its photo editor, which...

    some "new" pics 6/1/18

These pics were taken a few weeks ago using a plasma globe, a mirror or two, and glass spheres. By aligning the spheres the way I did I was able to get some nice abstract things going on inside the spheres with the plasma globe. I also used one sphere that was not clear, but dark green, and that...
