Welcome to LPF.---:>) The 9mm 445nm diodes (Nichia NDB7875) seems to be pretty robust and can take a current of 2 to 2.5ma and can be expected to live a long life. If they are properly heatsinked!!! Heat is your enemy and not addressing it will cause a premature or immediate diode failure...

Awesome dude, that blue beam looks good against the copper EDC host. Another work of art form the master. I like the way you heatsinked the driver to the host with the half round copper piece. Thermal properties of that build should be outstanding. Fine work sinner!!!!
