Any laser easily visible in broad daylight WILL require goggles. It takes more than 1/2 watt of green to be easily visible in daylight. Other wavelengths will require much more.

The green looks like the Aixiz 50mw green lab module. If so, the usual current is 450-500mA. aixiz.com StoreFront

Looks like it could be an old Hughes tube. Tubes of that length were generally in the 2-10 mW range back then.

Its the FlexMods( new model coming according to a post on PL) that are out of stock, he has FlexDrives in stock (Just got one last week).

Someone posted that they ran at 1A on the 50% duty cycle and 1.4A on the 66% cycle. So many posts about these, I don't remember who or where.
