The red should meet the green at the exact same spot on the dichro, then the blue should meet the green/red at the exact same spot on the next dichro. Most likely your beams will be different sizes, so do your best to center the red and blue over the green. As the green should be going...

I think(from what I've read on PL), the standard is series with a small balance resistor between them.

As my projection surface is only 15ft from my projector at the moment, divergence is not really an issue for me. Even with my red and blue focused at the surface, they are both 3-4x larger than my green.

Don't know exactly. But the electrical spec's list the flexdrive as ~10% more efficient and better regulated.

Flexdrive is buck/boost driver. It can lower or raise the voltage as needed.

Unless you are trying to do something like WhiteFusion, pulsing a single laser will just get you dots or dashes, not really a spirograph. I suppose you could have 3 pot controlled motors and also adjust PRF and Pulse width of the laser to create some odd patterns though.

Maybe blur was the wrong word to use, but I assume without some optics you would see the beams form a pattern like TEM11

So, double knifeedge(vertical and horizontal) with optics to blur the seperations a bit? What diodes are you using?
