It will work great and no, it does;t come with wires but the guy who owns/runs that site is a LPF member and very nice. If you ask, I'm sure for a few extra dollars he will solder some lead wires on the driver for you. The PHR diodes need ~6V and the driver needs 1.2V. With a 9V power supply...

Modwerx has a few Groove 2 drivers in stock. It's a linear driver like the rkcstr but only has a 1.2V dropout. :beer:

It's still really hard to tell, do you have a macro setting on that camera? Like Cyp said, it sure looks like they are in parallel and they should be in series.

All the bells and whistles look good but this kind of worries me: "synchronous step-down pulse voltage regulator" I'm no expert in electronics but shouldn't we be using constant current regulators?

Yeah, like Cyparagon said, a nice CLEAN, close-up shot of the underside is needed to be sure. That pic is pretty blurry but I think I see 5 diodes.

Also, those diodes are REALLY sensitive to ESD to make sure you use all precautions. At minimum use a grounded wrist strap. Use a test load (dummy load) to verify the current of your driver, you can build one very cheap. :beer: See here: Laser driver - It can be done
