I do think that you could be able to re-focus it. However, you would have to wreck the host and probably the module, too, if it is one of the unfocusable types. It is not worth it. my 0.01 [ch8364]. ArRaY

Most likely, except if the heat damages the coating. The glue that you are speaking about is CA glue, cyanoacrylate. The vapours mess up the surface if I got it right. ArRaY

I don´t know too much about electronics, but I am in the process of learning... However, how the hell should a switching power supply ever be able to be more than 100% efficient??? That would mean that you get more power from it than you put in? Isn´t that like, impossible? ArRaY

A 100mW red burner is rather on the lower edge. Most Burners on this forum are >180, while most really are about 200 or more. They go upto 300mW, but that depends on heatsinking, lens, diode used and how much you like risks ;) I have a 125mW red myself, and its burning abilities are 'ok'. The...

They are cheaper than nova and have full fda approval? They also carry the reds from cni, I would love to see a review of one of those. I would especialy like to have the red 100mW one as a perfect match for the x100 that I will be getting soon. I am waiting for 25 days now!!!

Does anyone know if you can 'PWM' a dpss laser? Since you are able to modulate LDs up to very high frequencies, it would be useful if you could add analouge modulation to your laser by writing a PWM program for a strong microcontroller? I bet someone already tried this..
